TRUST AND OBEY SERIES INTRODUCTION

Following Jesus requires us to learn to trust Him, even when life brings uncertainty, fear, and worry. In Trusting God, we explore how knowing God's character and faithfulness helps us rely on Him rather than our own understanding. In Knowing God's Will, we take the next step by learning how to seek God's direction through His Word, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We discover that God's desire is for us to follow Jesus in our daily lives, seeking His direction and learning to recognize what He wants us to do, one step at a time. These lessons help us build a foundation of trust and learn to depend on God as we follow Him.

Trusting God and knowing His will must lead to action. In Obedience, we discover that our love for Jesus is demonstrated by putting His teachings and commands into practice. In Let God Be God, we learn to surrender our own plans and expectations, allowing God to direct our steps and trusting Him with the outcome—even when things do not happen as we expected. Together, these four lessons will help you grow in your relationship with God, learn to trust His direction, and develop a heart that is willing to obey Him. As you learn to trust and obey Jesus, you will take important steps toward surrendering your life to Him and becoming more like Him each day.
